CD-ROM containing both a scan of the original french edition and the translated version, reillustrated including far better photos of the same locomotives, the printing quality of the original being fairly poor. Both versions are in Adobe's Acrobat format for an easy access, a pleasant appearance and the insurance that they can be printed without alteration of the pages set-up with any printer. Some extra photos of French Pacifics scanned before to make a definitive - and inevitably arbitrary - choice concerning the photos to use to illustrate the translation are also included. 

The CD also contains Adobe's Acrobat Reader software (freeware) for P.C. compatibles running under Windows 3.1, 95, 98, 2000 & ME and for Apple's Macintoshes.
